Dear Friends,
With a vision of education for all, a stronger community, and a mission to build a thriving, integrated and developed community through advocacy, education, and employment, the Burmese American Community Institute (BACI) has been putting all its effort to assist our community members in Indianapolis with their self-sufficiency and success.
Since its inception in 2010, we have served over 25,000 individuals with Citizenship and English language training, naturalization applications, as well as provided support in gaining employment and training, scholarships, and college & university admissions. Similarly, we provided technical assistance to many organizations that are an important part of the overall successful integration of the community. To be able to continue to serve our community, there is an urgent need to build a community center.
Good news! We have secured a 10-acre property at 5212 & 5246 Bluff Rd for the location. Rezoning has also been completed. We have also raised most of the funds needed to build a Community Hall building. But we still need your support! Kindly find a donation/pledge form in a separate sheet, as well as rendering of the buildings, service outcome, and impact of the work of BACI. Please return the pledge form with any amount of donation. We will begin construction as soon as we are able to raise additional funds needed.
