As Myanmar is reaching a critical junction in 2025, we hope to significantly increase in-person activities this year to make the conference more effective and impactful. We aim to bring diverse speakers and participants in-person, including a number of Union Ministers of NUG of Myanmar, CRPH, the US government officials, elected officials, academicians, Burmese-American community leaders, advocacy groups and others.
Panel and Roundtable discussions are expected to cover the topics and core issues including: 1) Bottom-up Federalism Building through Constitution Design, 2) the Role of the International Community and Geopolitics in Supporting Peace and Democracy, 3) International Sanctions, 4) Humanitarian and Development Aid for Myanmar including Education and Health, 5) Closed Sessions with the U.S. Government, and 6) Democratic Institutions and Capacity Building.
All of the above topics are designed under the theme of Strengthening of Unified Response and Coordinated Strategies in Supporting Peace and Democracy in Myanmar.
